I ng nhp vo 1 Cisco Router:

Router c 2 ch l : user mode (ch c th xem thng tin) v privileged mode (c th thay i cu hnh). vo privileged mode ta dng lnh enable (g tt l en ). Router>Router>enable hay Router>enRouter#K hiu # cho bit bn ang trong ch privileged. that khi privileged mode ta dng lnh disable.

Router#disableRouter>

that ra ngoi ta dng lnh logout hay exit. vo ch cu hnh ton cc (global configuration mode) ta dng lnh configure terminal (g tt l config t).Router#config tEnter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.

Tip theo thay i interface ta dng lnh interface ethernet.

II-Xem thng tin router:1. Lnh show version (sh ver):Lnh ny s cho bit nhng cu hnh ca h thng phn cng nh l : phin bn phn mm, cc tn v cc ngun ca cc files cu hnh v cc nh boot.Ngoi ra lnh ny cn cho ta bit router hot ng c bao lu, lai phn cng v phin bn b x l.2. Lnh show running-config (sh run)Ta c th xem cu hnh hin ti bng lnh ny. 3. Lnh startup-config (sh start):

Lnh ny cho ta xem cu hnh ca ln sau khi router khi ng li.N cng cho ta bit s lng NVRAM dng lu file startup-config.4. Lnh erase startup-config:

Lnh ny dng xa file startup-config.

Trc khi cu hnh default routing ta phi xa ht cc static routing trn router. cu hnh default routing ta cng dng lnh ip route nhng phi c tip theo sau l lnh ip classes.

cu hnh ppp authentication , trc tin phi t hostname, sau t username v passwork cho router t xa kt ni vo router ca bn . v d nu bn kt ni vo router 2501A v mun cu hnh authentication , ban phi t hostname, username m gm router m bn s ni vo .
