Natyakala Dance GroupSona Nair, who was trained under eminent KalaKshetra & KalaMandalam gurus began her journey in classical dance at a very young age, with a focus in Bharatanatyam.

In the pursuit of promoting Indian culture and developing the artistic talents of young children in the U.S, Sona

Nair founded the Natyakala Dance Group.

Sona Nair and her students have performed a variety of Indian dance art-forms, such as Bharathanatayam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattom, Kathakali, OttamThullal & Contemporary dances in various stages throughout North America & Singapore.

Sona Nair is a double Post-graduate degree holder and M-Phil Economics holder by profession, and also holds a Bachelor of Education degree.

To promote India's rich art forms in the West, and develop the artistic talents of young children in Indian classical dance forms
