Insects

• Beetles • Beetles have strong jaws and there are other 400,000 different types. The meat eating beetles and plant eating beetles are two types.

Dragonfly

• Dragonflies can fly up to 45 miles per hour.

• Dragonflies have two pairs of wings.

Grasshoppers can camouflage in grass. They are insects with long bodies, leathery front wings and strong back legs. There are about 20,000 species.

Ladybird

• Ladybirds are insects because they have six legs.

• Ladybirds hatch from eggs and turn into a larva and the larva turns into a pupa then the pupa turns into a ladybird.
