From the Principal
Goodbye Today is the last day for our esteemed business manager, Stephanie Neads, as she starts her family leave and prepares for the arrival of her new bundle of joy. We wish her all the very best with her pregnancy. We also officially welcome Peta Lee, who will be replacing Stephanie while she is on family leave. I know you will join me in making Peta feel very welcome. After 6 years, Jess from Out of Hours School Care will have her last day with us on Friday. She has picked up an ongoing position with Camp Australia at another school and we wish her all the very best as she moves into her new role.
Novel Coronavirus I am very aware of the ongoing concerns many of our community have about Coronavirus. As a school, we follow the advice of the Department of Education and the Victorian Health Organisation. At this stage, the advice provided to school remains as follows: All students and staff members who have travelled to Hubei Province, Mainland China, Iran or Republic of Korea are advised to stay at home and avoid public settings, including attendance at schools and early learning centres, until 14 days. Children and staff who are well and have travelled to other provinces in China, or any other areas where there have been reported cases, are NOT recommended to be excluded from schools and child care services unless the following applies: The person is a confirmed case of novel coronavirus The person is a close contact with a confirmed case of novel coronavirus in the past 14 days We will continue to monitor the situation and update our community as new or additional information is communicated to us. All precautionary measures, such a good personal hygiene and the washing of hands will continue to be implemented across the school.

Senior Sport
The Seniors have been very busy this term!
They have all settled in well and have had
a great start to the year. We can’t believe
that it is almost the end of Term 1!
The Seniors have spent the last few weeks
practising for their chosen sport for Senior
Sports. Last Friday, we had our first away
game, playing at St Francis De Sale Primary
School in Lynbrook. We had lots of fun and
we had some amazing results.
We are all looking forward to our next
game tomorrow, which is also an away
game against Cranbourne Carlisle Park.
Prep and Junior students had fun meeting Harold in the Life Education van.
They learnt about how the human body works, healthy eating and nutrition,
medicines and drugs, bullying, resilience and social skills.
READING CLUB Come along to reading club each Tuesday and Wednesday
8:30 - 8:55 in the art room. Bring your share book.
At Coral Park we are Celebrating Harmony Day on
Wednesday 18th March
Everyone is encouraged to dress in
cultural dress, colours of their flag or
orange - the colour of Harmony Day.
Harmony Day will be celebrated at 12.30pm
in the MPC where our talented students are
performing a Harmony Day concert.
Come along and see all of our wonderful
performers at the Cultural Concert!
We encourage you to bring a plate of
food from your culture to share with
your class. We would love parents
and friends to come along and
share some of their stories and
enjoy lunch with our students in
their classrooms from 1.15pm.
