The GAP in Corporate E-Learning

+Do any of these sentences sound familiar? They don’t complete the e-learning courses They keep complaining that the courses are

boring I want to gamify our e-learning modules I want to make whatsapp videos of this

module Make the module to be lot of fun Keep the module short…not more than fifteen

minutes.

+The GAP “Digital Immigrants” creating E-Learning

interventions for” Digital Natives” Pedagogical shift: Corporate training to E-

learning Many companies are not yet technology

friendly Corporate trainers creating “e-learning

modules” with limited Experience of using learning technologies

and understanding of Millennial learning styles

Leading to “quick catchups” through latest fads

+

syndrome

engagement in learning and application. Think radial- Not just linear modules Strategically involve multiple touch points Plan to capture analytics in real time and have

corresponding feedback and course correction mechanism
