Hello May!
Happy Mother's Day to all the corvette moms.
Hope you have a great day.
This is my favorite time of year; flowers blooming,
65-75 degree days, and cool nights. Great corvette weather.
This month's meeting, Wed. 5/6, will be our last opportunity
as a group to discuss the Bar-A show on Sun. 5/17. Last year's
show was a tremendous success, and we're hoping for good
weather and a great time for all. I'd like to thank the Bar-A committee
and everyone involved for doing a great job.
There are numerous events, shows, cruises, etc. this month
and to follow. Please check our website or contact the activities
committee for information.
We're enjoying great success at Corvette Express right now.
We are the largest and most active Corvette club in the area.
As usual, it's about the people. Membership is growing steadily,
and attendance at meetings is rising. Inviting people to an event,
a meeting, or to join is a great way to keep the club inspired
with new ideas, and growing.
Thank you all for thinking of Corvette Express as I do,
and thank you to our legacy members for getting us here.
Yours in Corvettes,
Rob Lombardi.

Greetings, and welcome (finally) to warm weather and sunshine! Despite
the fact that April started out as an unwelcome extension of winter, I
think we can now safely proclaim the start of what will hopefully be a
fantastic season of corvette events, including cruises, car shows, and pic-
nics!
For those members who do not know me, my name is Lisa Force, and I am
pleased and honored to assume the responsibility of the Corvette Expres-sions editor. A very special thanks to Joe Fernandez for years of
dedication and hard work in the production of this newsletter!
Sunday, April 12, was a fun day for members who participated in a car
show at the Home Depot shopping center in West Long Branch. There
were several different kinds of cars, but of course, the nicest ones were
from Corvette Express! Special thanks to Ed Acquaviva for organizing this
event. April 19 turned out to be a lovely day, perfect for a scenic, all-
day cruise to Pocono Pines and lunch at The Alpine Inn. Twenty-one
members rode in an impressive procession of eleven gorgeous vets,
attracting a plethora of attention from everyone they passed! A huge
thank-you to Linda and Joe Fernandez who did an amazing job organizing
this fabulous trip!
Finally, as we begin the month of May, make sure you check the activity
schedule as there are lots of great events coming up, including the Bar A
car show on May 17. See you at the next meeting on May 6.

Here's an air filter I like to sell.
Maybe someone in the club can make better use of it than I can.
It's practically new as you can see it's hardly used and the in-
side is clear and clean.
