fabric of the universe itself.

The brain creates the mind.

Survival ain’t easy.

We are the product of millions of years of sustained conflict.

So much to behappy about.

So why all theFear?

We are trying to solve the wrong problem.

Retire Early Make Money Find Soul Mate Run Faster

Spend Time w/ Family Buy A Home Get Married Run A

why? why? why? why?

HAPPINESSwhy? why? why? why?

What is happiness?

Don’t pursue happiness.

Create it!

Some humble suggestions.

1. Recognize the miracle.(Accept the damn gift.)

The clock is ticking.

2. Relinquish control(Don’t try to use the external

to fix the internal.)

If you are trying to avoid pain...

…then pain is running your life.

2. Accept control

You don’t need anyone’s permission.

Only you can write the script of your life.

Don’t let anyone else hold the pen.

3. The voices in your headare fearful.

“All life is suffering.”

Fear is the universal language of the psyche.

It is the root cause of all negative thoughts and

emotions.

Your psyche is built ofvapor to which you cling to create a sense of stability.

So the path to happiness is lit by

broadening your focus.

4. Find the True You.(The One Who Sees All)

You are not your thinking mind.

You are the one who is aware of your thinking

mind.

5. Stay out of the garbage.

(Don’t participate; just watch.)

You are addicted toyour fears.

Recognize the absurdity of constantly listening to the

ravings of lunatics.

How much time have you spent resisting what has already happened and what might happen?

It is not life’s events that cause unhappiness.

It is your resistance to life’s events.

Everything will be okay when you are ok with

everything.

And that’s the only timeeverything will be okay.

6. Be quiet. Accept.(Relax and release.)

Enjoy the show….

…but stop participating in it.

Playfully detach.

Just regularly remind yourself to watch your mind...

… and to stay the hell out of it.

Create regular moments of centered consciousness.

Eventually, the triggers will not suck you in….

…they will simply remind you that you’re watching.

What used to hold you down...

…will awaken you.

7. Transcend the tendency to avoid the fear of pain.

Let it pass through you like the wind through the reeds.

Don’t close over it; open up to it,but give it room to pass.

If the avoidance of pain is the reason for your actions…

…every one of those actions will have the power to inflict

pain upon you.

If you react to pain by closing ranks around it…

…it will remain within you.

If you close around something…

…you will be psychologically sensitive to it

for the rest of your life.

When your life is no longer run by fear of pain…

…you will be freeto be happy.

There is an ocean of love and peace and serenity

within you.

8. Maintain a cosmic perspective.

Permit the world to bewhat it is.

Psst… it’s none of your business.

When bad things happen, don’t ask, “How can I

fix this?”

Ask, “Who am Ithat is aware of this?”

9. There is only one question:

Do you want to be happy?

There is only one answer:

Unconditionally, yes.

Some part of you thinks there are good reasons for

being unhappy.

That part of youis mistaken.

No matter what happens...

...leave your heart open and honor the life you

experience.

The clock is ticking.

What you are doing at every moment is something

someone else was doing when they died.

10. Be someone the gods want to hang out with.

Satchitananda:Eternal, cosmic bliss.

When you are done playing with the temporary and the

finite…...you will open to the eternal

and the infinite.

12. It is better to be kindthan to be right.

Imagine if relationships were about getting to know other people instead of tending to

your issues?

To get closer to others,

let go of yourself.

Consider: regret.
