“Course prerequisites are courses to be completed or conditions to be met before a student is eligible to enroll in a specific course. A student who has enrolled in a course without first completing all course prerequisite may be disenrolled from that course by the College. Prerequisites are identified in program listings with a “+” sign.”

Type at least 30 wpm. Basic introductory skills of using

Microsoft Word.

Demonstrate creating, formatting, printing and saving a Word document.

Course Prerequisite (continued):

Demonstrate knowledge of document formats. Creating Memos, Letters, Reports, etc.

Course Prerequisite (continued):

Basic introductory skills of using a Computer: Power the computer On and Shut

Down. Move around the Windows Desktop. Use the Mouse. Start and Close any Windows

application.

Course Objectives

Students will be using Microsoft Office 2003.

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:

Demonstrate introductory skills using: Microsoft Excel 2003 – (spreadsheet) Microsoft Access 2003 – (database) Microsoft PowerPoint 2003–

(presentation)

Demonstrate introductory Intermediate skills using: Microsoft Word 2003 – (word processor)
