Workshops include a 30-45 minutes lecture portion and a 30 minute hands on laboratory. facility and avian emergencies. 2002-2006 Southeastern Raptor Center Attending Veterinarian/ Biomedical Director
Healthcare and Biosecurity responsibilities for all birds at the center. Approximately 200-300 birds per year admitted for rehabilitation. Includes training and adherence to IACUC and OSHA. Supervision of 1 half time staff member and approximately 30 volunteers per semester. On duty year round except for when out of town.
2004-2006 Attending Veterinarian. Auburn University Bat Colony
Liason with IACUC and OAR for Bat colony SOP and adherence to training and personnel policies and procedures. Oversight of animal care, vaccination of bats for rabies.
