Stories are promoted to the entire Salesforce community via the Customer Story Tool. This is the “go-to” place for sales when looking for references and use cases.
Use storytelling to promote your solution inside Salesforce
Story Submission Process 1. Join the “ISV Success Stories” Dropbox folder. Send an email to
partnerstories@salesforce.com to request access. Please include names, job titles, and email addresses of all those who need access.
2. Download the AppExchange Partner – Customer Success Story Template from the Partner Community or the Dropbox folder and fill it out.
Please include name, job title, and email
3. Upload the completed template to the “ISV Success Stories” Dropbox folder.
4. Email partnerstories@salesforce.com to let us know you have uploaded a story. The Storyforce team will review the submission and add the story to our internal customer stories database. We may also create a “front slide” to showcase and promote your story within Salesforce.
What a good story looks like
• Challenge • What was their business like before your solution?
• What were they trying to accomplish but they couldn’t?
• Solution • What was your solution to solve their challenges, and how was
it implemented?
• List any integrations, customizations
• How long did it take to implement?
• Value / Results • What value or results has the customer seen from using your
solution?
• Use metrics whenever possible
Tips on crafting a great story
• Give enough details that anyone briefly retell the story • Use the 2nd slide to provide more details!
• Explain how your solution solved the customer’s challenges • Briefly describe what your solution is
• The more quantifiable the better!
We Look Forward to Hearing Your Success Stories!
