1. INVESTMENT AND PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

Companies’ share evaluation techniques using fundamental analysis and proposing trading

strategies

Evaluating financial position of Traphaco Joint Stock Company and its competitors in the market

for 2007-2013 period

Conducting an overall study on industrial as well as national macro-economic level. From that,

assessing the financial performance of Pharmaceutical as a whole and of Traphaco Company against

other major pharmaceutical manufacturing firms in Vietnam.

Developed four value estimation models, which were Dividend Discounted Model (DDM), Free

Cash Flows to Equity (FCFE), Price/Earnings ratio (PE) and Price/Book Value ratio (PB), to

forecast the price of Traphaco’s share in the market.

Examined the importance of four models and recommended investment trading strategies for

Traphaaco Company through conducting investment report.

2. INTERNATIONAL TRADE ECONOMICS

Analyzing exchange rate movement of UK Sterling against USD

Analyzing the relationship between the value of the currencies and various macro-economic

indicators, including: relative inflation, relative balance of payments, and relative capital flows

between UK and the US from 1992 to 2014, the period under which Sterling operated under floating

exchange rate regime.

Examining the two-point and three-point arbitrage opportunities arose in the past ten years from the

US, UK and Europe money markets.

3. QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS

Building multivariate regression model forecasting sales of a business

Econometric techniques using Stata software

Developed multi-nominal choice models such as Binary, Logit and Probit models for predicting

choices of how often people visiting dentists.
