11. OTHER INFORMATION: CWPRS in the Centenary Year 2016 organized an International Seminar on “Reliable Data Acquisition
System for Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM)” during 07-08th November, 2016 at Hotel
Hyatt Regency, Pune in collaboration with The Indian Society for Hydraulics (ISH) under the aegis of
World Bank assisted National Hydrology Project.
The main objective of the Seminar was to bring together Water Resource Management practitioners and
leading HydroMet Instrument Manufacturers of the world to discuss issues pertaining to Hydrological

Data Acquisition for Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM). An Exhibition was also running
in parallel, supporting the theme and showcasing the technologies, latest developments and solutions
available.
From the feedback received from the various delegates, experts, officials it can be concluded that the
objectives of the conference have been accomplished and the seminar and interactions have provided the
much needed launch of the National Hydrology Project.
