Reception Venue Focus & Advertiser Benefits• Online Venue Search Tool • Customized Venue Profiles

• Venue Chart in Magazine • Expanded Editorial Coverage on Venue Choices

One of the biggest decisions the couple will make is where to host their wedding reception. With that in mind, the editors of Engaged magazine will focus a lot of attention on this aspect of wedding planning, with an in-depth A-Z guide to venues in addition to an informative chart and a comprehensive online venue search tool.

All Engaged magazine reception venue advertisers are guaranteed inclusion in the A-Z guide, print chart and online search platform. Venues also have the option to be included in our venue profile section featuring beautifully designed editorial profiles offered at very deep discounts to advertisers — see samples below and over.

Those purchasing one of our multi-platform packages or placing a ½ page color ad or larger are also guaranteed:

• Increased exposure in our A-Z guide, with photo consideration given to Luxe package advertisers;

• Guaranteed additional editorial coverage in at least one of our other editorial features, which include Ask The Experts and Real Local Weddings

Please note – in order to be included, we need space reservation confirmation as soon as possible , but no later than June 15th, 2018.

WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE? What sets Newport Vineyards apart from other venues is

its location. It is away from downtown Newport but close enough that guests are able to

experience both the nautical and vineyard aspects of what Aquidneck Island has to oer.

Our vineyard and rustic settings can’t be found anywhere else in Newport.

DOES NEWPORT VINEYARDS LEND ITSELF WELL TO ANY PARTICULAR THEMES?

As we like to say to our guests when they enter our Meadow Room, Newport Vineyards has

a “rustic romantic” feel, a look which lends itself to many options for brides and grooms to

decorate as they see fit. In addition to the cherry-wood chairs we supply and numerous bar-

rels for high tops, we have had brides and grooms rent wooden sweetheart tables and farm

tables. We have seen couples do it all for their special day!

WHERE ARE THE BEST PHOTO OPS ON YOUR PROPERTY? There are countless! One of

the best features of our venue is that it oers so many options. We allow pictures in our barrel

and tank room which are illuminated beautifully in the evening. The barrel room adds to the

rustic side of our venue, while the tank room fits more of an industrial look. But the most suit-

ing and beautiful pictures can be taken in our vineyard. With more than sixty acres of vines at

your disposal, you’re guaranteed a dynamic and gorgeous backdrop 365 days a year. In addi-

tion to the vines, we have a lovely walking trail next to the vineyard. Full of luscious green and

pure natural beauty, this area creates a natural setting for your photos. From our industrial

tank and rustic barrel room to fruitful vines and luscious greens, there are endless possibilities

for your wedding day portraits.ARE YOU A ONE-STOP SHOP? We are! We host ceremonies, cocktail hours and recep-

tions and cater it all in-house. With each site all within a few short steps of each other,

you and your guests are able to experience all aspects of the vineyard throughout your

wedding day. First, the ceremony will be held out in our sprawling meadow where the

surrounding vines create a breathtaking backdrop. Following your vows, guests can walk

right over to our vineyard porch for cocktail hour. Illuminated with market lights and fea-

turing music, a bar and appetizers, this is the perfect location for a social hour. After the

cocktail hour, we open up the Meadow Room for the reception. This is when your guests

will truly experience that authentic “rustic romantic” feel. Complete with a spacious dance

floor and room for a band or DJ as well as dining tables, your guests are guaranteed an

amazing night!

We at Massimo are proud to offer a premier private event space in Providence! Offering a seasonal menu inspired by the regional cuisines

of Italy, our signature dishes include Fettuccine alla Carbonara with guanciale and a farm fresh egg, a fig and Gorgonzola pizzette, and a

house-aged rib-eye “Fiorentina.”

Located at the gateway to Federal Hill, Massimo is classically designed to create a warm and lively setting, featuring dark woods and

bright pops of yellow. Our spacious dining room has giant sliding glass doors that lend an al fresco feel to the entire first floor. Upstairs,

the glass-enclosed private dining room — including a full bar and lounge — make it the perfect place for events of all scopes and sizes,

whether it’s an intimate occasion with friends and family or a boisterous celebration with seating for up to 125 guests.

Massimo has unique wines from small boutique Italian winemakers (not available anywhere else!) and a cellar selection from Italy, Spain

and California. Our approach to wine is accessibility, quality and variety to encourage unfettered enjoyment. Our bar features beers on

tap, cocktails and a large selection of classic Italian amari, grappa and many other Italian liqueurs.

We have created several party menu options (see next page for a taste), but we are also happy to help you create a unique menu that fits

your event. Whether it’s a casual cocktail reception or a decadent wine dinner, we will help you to truly impress your guests.

WHAT MAKES QUIDNESSETT COUNTRY CLUB A UNIQUE VENUE SPACE FOR A WEDDING?

Just twenty minutes from downtown Providence, Quidnessett Country Club is located right

on the banks of Narragansett Bay, oering spectacular views from our reception rooms.

With magnificent banquet rooms, superb food, uncompromising service and attention to

detail, we like to say that Quidnessett provides a visual feast for the senses. Our beautifully

landscaped property allows for a variety of unique photo opportunities, but our most

popular location is in the back of the clubhouse overlooking the water. Aside from our

reasonable food minimum requirements, we do not have room rental fees, bartender fees or

cake cutting fees.

DOES QUIDNESSETT LEND ITSELF WELL TO ANY PARTICULAR THEMES? Our elegant

reception rooms each act as a blank canvas that can be transformed to suit just about any

theme or color palette. Couples are not only welcome but encouraged to enhance their

reception room with their personal style and decor.

DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO HAVE MY WEDDING HERE? No, you do not have to be a

member to have your wedding here. We encourage any and all couples to take advantage of

our exceptional services.

ARE YOU A ONE-STOP SHOP? Yes, we can host your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception

all on our property.

WHEN’S YOUR BUSIEST SEASON? HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD COUPLES BE LOOKING TO

BOOK? Our busiest season is always May through October. We recommend couples book as

early as possible; we can book as far as two years in advance.

WHAT IS YOUR CATERING SITUATION? We provide our own catering and couples are able to

create their own menus that work within their budget and our food minimum requirements.

We have many popular menu items that couples can preview at our tastings; we host two group

food tastings during the year for couples who have already booked their weddings with us.

WHAT’S YOUR PRICING LIKE? We have food minimum requirements that vary depending on

the time of year, day of the week and the reception room that the couple decides to use.

WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST FACTORS COUPLES SHOULD KEEP IN MIND WHILE VENUE

SEARCHING? It is always important for couples to determine their guest count and budget

before scheduling a tour. Without a solid grasp on these basic logistical details, couples really

can’t move forward in the search for the perfect venue.
