FRITES, HK’s popular Belgian beerhouse, has opened its fourth location in

lively Causeway Bay. The impressively spacious and beautifully designed venue

features their signature 1920’s Belgian dining hall-style and transports you

straight out of the streets of HK to Europe. We loved the extensive menu of

European comfort food, which includes their famous Holland imported

mussels served in six different ways. Favourite dishes off the menu include the

flavourful Steak Tartare, the refreshing Prawn Cocktail with tiger prawns,

tobiko, butter lettuce and Marie Rose sauce, the fragrant Laksa Mussel Pot with

coconut cream, lemongrass and kaffir lime in a curry sauce, the juicy melt in

your mouth Black Angus Ribeye Steak Frites with truffle butter, and the

indulgent 750 gram Pork Knuckle with caramelised roasted vegetables. We

highly recommend pairing with some of their unique and finely crafted beers

from the extensive “Beer Bible”, our favourites being the Delirium Tremens,

the Gouden Carolus and the Trappistes Rochfort 10. A perfect spot for

afternoon drinks and food, a lively date night, or great weekend out with

friends.
