•This volume, combined with current traffic volume, will be accommodated satisfactorily.

•Minimum thresholds are far from being met for this intersection.

Traffic Volume

• Existing volume in AM peak hour =Approximately 100 vehicles (two way)

• Capacity of a single lane = 800 vehicles/hr or 1600 for both lanes

• In summary, existing volume is approximately 10% of capacity.
