BioDavid J. Odishoo is a licensed landscape architect

practicing in his atelier studio in Coconut Grove, Florida.

After a nearly ten year career in architecture, David began working with the award-winning landscape architect Raymond Jungles in 1990, a design collaborative that continues to this day.

David’s curiosity with tropical plants and their place in landscape design compelled him to open his own studio in 1997, where he handles high-end residential and select commercial projects.

David’s lasting design philosophy has been to encourage his clients to live outdoors by integrating water movement, native & fragrant plantings and local stone materials into his gardens whenever possible.

Among his current projects are a residence on St. Croix , USVI, the re-design of the Royal Harbor Yacht Club and Doral Estates communities in Miami and the Castle Beach Resort on Miami Beach.

David’s design staff is comprised of landscape architects and designers that share in his approach to garden design. His staff brings additional support and experience in the private, public and civic sectors of the design and construction fields.
