Origami Bird Magnet

( Art & Craft )Ite m s Needed :

1. square paper of any colour ( or any origami paper ! )

2. coloured markers3. gluestick4. magnets5. googly eyes

Procedure :

1. Follow the steps on how to fold the origami on the next given slides.

2. Paint the beak red and decorate your bird. 3. Stick the googly eyes to complete. 4. Once dry, stick a magnet between the

folds and secure all edges with glue.

( Physical Play )

Get Up &Move Dice( Physical Play )

Procedure :

1. Throw both boxes up high.2. Read what is written on the boxes. 3. Act it out and move your body according to the

words given. 4. Change the words to a challenging gesture.5. Parents can play along too !

To make the dice :

1. Wrap paper or paint two medium size gift boxes in black.

2. Write the words using different coloured chalks in each boxes. ( One box is action words while other box is directional words )

Fruit Bugs( Cookery )

Ite m s Needed :

1. fruits - of any kind 2. toothpicks3. chocolate chips – for

the spots / eyes4. celery stalks5. peanut butter or

other seeds

Procedure :

1. Fill celery stalks with peanut butter. This will be the base of all the fruit bugs you make. You can also use toothpick to stick on the fruits.

2. Add in sliced fruits and chocolate chips, use your imagination to make different kinds of bugs !

Rainstick Musical Sensory Bottle

( Sensory Play )

Items Needed :

1. water bottle 2. sticks and twigs

( optional : can use a few of small rocks )

3. rice grains

Procedure :

1. Fill the bottle with sticks and twigs2. Add in 5 – 10 teaspoons of rice grains3. Place the lid on the rainstick sensory bottle4. Shake it and hear the gentle pitter — patter

of rain !
