5th December, 2017 – Week 9 – Term 4
Student Parliament Speeches 2018
Student Parliament speeches were held today in the hall. Students have been campaigning over the last two weeks and
preparing their important speech. All students from Kinder to Year 5 had the opportunity to vote after the speeches and
the final result will be announced at the Presentation Assembly next week.
2018 Class Organisation
All students will be involved in a step up day on Thursday. Students will have the opportunity to visit and be involved in
a craft activity with their 2018 Stage or teacher. The organisation of classes and teachers during the step up day could
change in 2018 depending on staff changes, students numbers and new enrolments.
Christmas Scripture
The combined Christmas Scripture presentation will be held this Friday, 8th December from 10.40am in the hall. This will
be the final scripture session for the year.
School Swimming Scheme
School swimming scheme finishes this Friday. All students swimming will need to bring long clothes, like long sleeved
PJ’s, long sleeve shirt, light track pants etc. on Friday the last day, to complete their safety component of the program.
Week 10 organisation
Presentation Assembly – Monday, 11th December
This year’s Presentation assembly commences at 9.20am in the school hall. Everyone is invited to come along.
Carols by Candlelight – Monday, 11th December
5.45pm – 6.30pm BBQ 6.30pm Carols
Gold Award Celebration – Tuesday, 12th December
The Gold award celebration for children who have received a Gold Award this year will be on Tuesday, 12th December
from 11.20am. There will be pizza and a movie.
Year 6 Farewell – Wednesday, 13th December
Parents and Carers of Year 6 children are invited to join us at 6.00pm to watch the students receive their graduation
certificate and to view the Year 6 PowerPoint Presentation. Dinner will follow for students and staff. Parents are invited
to share the last dance of the evening with their child at 8.45pm All Year 6 students need to pay $15.00 for their meal
at the office. Year 5 students attending the Disco from 7.30-9.00pm need to pay their $5.00 entry cost on the night.
End of Year Celebration Day – Thursday, 14th December
All stages will be having their end of year celebration on Thursday, 14th December.

asking for donations for the
Christmas Hamper Raffle.
Donations of non-perishable
items decorations, toys may be
left with Allison at the canteen.
The raffle will be drawn at the
Carols by Candlelight on
Monday, 11th December.
Please return all sold and
unsold tickets books to the
canteen. More ticket books are
available from the canteen, if
you would like more to sell.
