systemis9.88eVwhichinferiortotheNEP.•  Shijsinthebaselinethataretoosharpforourdrij

•  Lowfrequencylinesthatproduceoscilla<onsvisibleinthe<medomainprovidetheremainderofthegap.

DetectorNoise•  WehavemodeledourTESswiththeknowndesign

parametersandgetagoodfittoX-raypulses.•  Inordertofitthenoisespectrum,excessnoise

needstobeaddedtothemodel,andtheexcessphonon-likenoiseisthedominantcomponentoftheintegratednoiseequivalentpower(NEP).

•  Totalmul<plexedelectronicsnoiseis40pA//√Hz,whichisbelowthelevelofthedetectornoise

RadioFrequencyPickup•  Webelievethattheexcessphononnoiseis

generatedbyRFpickupintothecryostatwhichmanifestsashea<nginthedetector.

•  Theflightboxthatinterfacesbetweenthecryostatandroomtemperatureelectronicsallowsmorepickupthanthelaboratoryequivalent.Weareinves<nghowtogeneratea<ghterelectricalseal.

•  Suscep<bilitytothisnoisetypevariesfrompixeltopixel.Thereisnopabernofwhichpixelsareworsewithinthereadoutwiringscheme,sothenoisehastoenterthedetectorsdirectly.
