Biobor®JF is a diesel biocide and lubricity additive that kills and prevents microbial growth (bacteria and fungi) in all diesel fuel applications. These harmful ‘HUM’ bugs live in the water phase of a fuel tank and feed on the fuel creating slimy mats of growth that clog fuel filters, plug injectors and cause fuel system corrosion. Biobor JF is a highly effective ‘shock kill’ to eliminate growth but may also be used in a preventative, maintenance treatment to ensure fuel quality and prevent fuel contamination. Continued use of Biobor®JF extends fuel filter life, prevents sludge and slime and reduces maintenance downtime dramatically. Additionally, Biobor®JF adds lubricity to ULSD protecting injection systems and fuel pumps from premature wear.
