Council Meetings in FebruaryNo parking during snow clearing in Sherwood Park When snow clearing is needed on collector roads and bus routes (Priority 3) or in residential neighbourhoods (Priority 4), no-parking signs will be posted. The parking restriction will go into effect 24 hours after the signs are installed, and will remain in place until the signs are removed. In the instances where parked vehicles are towed, they will be moved to a nearby location where snow removal has been completed. The fine for not moving a vehicle is $250. • www.strathcona.ca/wintermaintenance780-449-0170

County working to keep roads clear of snow Check online for information on clearing your driveway and sidewalks, where to place your Green Routine carts, and maps of priority snow clearing routes. Call to let us know about conditions that need attention – icy roads, downed traffic signs or traffic lights not working. If you phone after hours, you will be forwarded to one of our on-call staff. • www.strathcona.ca/wintermaintenance780-417-7100(24-hournumber)

Clear snow from around hydrants If there is a fire hydrant near your home, please clear snow or ice at least 60 cm (2 ft.) from around the hydrant. That way, in an emergency, crews can find the hydrant with the greatest possible speed. If you are physically unable to remove the snow from around the hydrant, please call Utilities. • www.strathonca.ca/utilities780-467-7785
