Directions for All About Me Text and Picture Project:

1. Write 4 Sentences about yourself in this box:

My name is ________________________________

2. Take a picture of yourself with Mr. Michaud's MacBook Computer

3. Click Camera Icon One Time:

4. The computer will beep and take the picture

5. Drag and copy the your picture to your File Area (Drag to the folder with your name on it).

Directions for Typing Your All About Me Document:

1. Type “All About Me” in the first line of the Text Document. (Don't Center it yet)

2. Press Enter once. Type “Firstname Lastname”

3. Press “Enter” twice to bring the cursor to the 4th line.

4. Type your 4 sentences. Do not press enter until you are finished your 4th sentence. Use proper punctuation and capitalization.

5. Click “File → Save” when you are finished typing.

6. Center your Title and Name: Click once to put the cursor on the same line as your Title and name. Then Click the center icon.

7. Make the font larger: Highlight the entire text and select a larger font size.

8. Insert your picture: Click once below your paragraph. Then click “Insert → Picture → From File”

9. Click the “little home” icon.

10. Double Click “NeboMusicWork”

11. Double Click your Grade

12. Double Click your Teacher

13. Double Click your Name

14. Click once on your picture and then click “OK”

15. Save your work: Click “File → Save”

Directions for Creating and Saving the “All About Me” OpenOffice Text Document:

1. On your computer, start OpenOffice by clicking on the OpenOffice Icon

2. Click the “Text Document” Icon. Then click “Open.”

3. Save your work: Click “File → Save” (Or Click the “Save” Icon)

4. Double Click “NeboMusicWork”

5. Double Click your Grade

6. Double Click your Teacher

7. Double Click your Name

8. Type “Lastname All About Me” in the file name area. Click “Save.”

9. Click “Save”
