DISEWEB User Manual
Web based data entry module for DISE software
Available At http://admis.hp.nic.in/diseweb DiseWeb is a web based application for data entry of State Govt Employees at districts for
DISE software used by election department, HP hosted in HP State centre at URL:
http://admis.hp.nic.in/diseweb . Application uses Treasury database for employee basic
details and thereafter, respective DDO enters the details in the application which, on final
approval by District Election Officers, will be exported to the DISE software at each district.
Naming convention for username in DiseWeb is TreasuryCode_DdoCode e.g. for treasury
code SMR00 and Ddo code 001, user name will be SMR00_001 . DDO will login to the
application using the default password ‘Pass123#’ which needs to be changed on first login.

On successful login, password reset screen is displayed where user is supposed to change
his/her default password. Change password screen is shown below:
After password change, user will see List of Departments and need to map his/her owned
department for employee mappings. From the list of departments, user has to select his/her
department and on save, department will be available for mapping in data entry page along
with offices of that department.
After successful department mapping, DDO will see list of employees categorized as
Available and Exempted. Exempted employees include the following list of employees,

Employees Retiring in one year period before 31.05.2019
Class IV employees.
Rest of the employees come under Available list. These employees are available to the DDO
and each DDO must ensure every individual employee entry in the application. Home page
after Department mapping is shown below:
Complete list will display all the employees. Complete list of employees is shown below:

My Mappings button will display list of employees whose DISE specific details have been
entered by the DDO. My mapping screen is shown below:
Print list button will print list of employees based on the selection of View employee:
Available, Exempted, Complete list.
Add button will be displayed against each employee to enter his DISE specific details. Once
added, user will see Edit button which will enable him/her to edit employee details.

In case, employee gender is wrong, same can be edited using the option ‘Update Employee’
at top menu. On this page, user can either edit employee gender or employee designation.

In case, user is not exempted under above three categories, DDO has to manually mark
them for exemption in Add/Edit employee page.
On successful data entry of each employee by the DDO, he/she will certify that he/she has
done all the data entry and all entered information is accurate and will click on the ‘Submit’
button. Submit button will be active only after processing all employees. After submit, DDO
will not be allowed to make any changes in employee record.

Once submitted, list will be available to the district election officer who will further check
and on final submission by district election officer; complete list will automatically get
exported to the DISE software available at each district office.
District Level User
On successful login, user can view district summary dashboard. Dashboard includes DDO’s
status along with their number of employees. Treasury, non-treasury users wise summary
can also be viewed. Detailed list of DDO’s is available on click of each link. DDO’s Status can
be one of the following:
Exported: DDO has completed data entry and after verification by district election
officer, employee list eligible for election duty has been exported to district
database.
Submitted: DDO has completed data entry and list has been submitted to district
election officer for verification.
o Employees Processed: DDO has entered employees details.
o Employees Available: DDO has submitted employees as eligible for election
duty.
Under Progress: DDO is currently working on data entry.
o Employees Processed: DDO has entered employees details.
o Employees Available: DDO has marked employees as eligible for election
duty. These employees will be considered as eligible only after submission by
DDO to concerned District Election Officer.
Pending: DDO has not started data entry.
On click of DDO Status, DDO wise details are displayed. Details include total number of
employees, number of Available employees and number of Exempted employees. Under
progress screen is shown below:

List can be printed on click of Print button at the bottom of the detailed list.
By using employees processing option from main dashboard, user can view list of total
employees processed as on current date and time. All the lists available here are printable.
User can view DDO code, Department, office, employee Name, Designation, basic pay,
current role and status against DDO code.

On the same dashboard user can view different menu options like

7. Log off
User can view logged in user’s District, no. of AC’s, no. of polling stations, DDO’s summary
and role assigned along with current district status based on data entry and required data
entry.
Home
Dise Web District Summary will be displayed on click of Home.

DDO Wise Summary
DDO wise summary option will display list of DDO’s who have completed all their employee
entries and submitted for verification to district election officer. List will display DDO
code(office Name) along with the count of total employees (male/female), available
employees and exempted employees. Detailed list of Available and Exempted employees
can be viewed on click of corresponding link against DDO. Process button will allow user to
view complete data list entered by DDO. Any employee in the List can be edited by district
user. User can also search DDO by using search option available on the top left corner of the

list.
User can also view exempted employee categories by using ‘View exempted employee
categories’ option available on top right of the DDO list. Screen to list categories defined by
Election department is shown below:
DDO wise Details
On click of Process button against any DDO on DDO wise summary page, user will be
redirected to DDO wise Details page.

Print, Revert, Export and Back buttons are available on the page.
Print: On click of print button, employee list will be printed with following details like
Employee Code, name, Father/spouse Name, Gender, Date of Birth, designation and exempt
reason.
Revert: In case, district user is not satisfied with the entries done by DDO, he/she can again
ask DDO for rectification in the records. On click of revert button, DDO Submit will be
reverted and list will again be available to the DDO for adding/editing employee details.
Export: In case, district user is fully satisfied with the entries done by DDO, he/she can
export DDO records to respective district server using Export button. On click of export
button, all available employees list will get exported to district server and list will be
available in DISE software (desktop application) for further use in randomisation. After

successful export, this button will automatically get disabled and Export text will change to
‘EXPORTED’.
Back: Back button will redirect user to DDO wise Summary page.
On click of view button against any employee in the list, district user can view complete
employee details entered by DDO. User can also edit Employee details by using View button
available in the DDO wise Detail list.
Export Masters
Export Masters option is available to district user for updating master tables in their
respective district servers. This option has to be used by each district user at least once for
each master table.
AC- DDO Wise Checklist
AC- DDO wise checklist is available for viewing complete employee details at one place. List
can be printed for data verification purpose.

Reset User
In case, any DDO or non treasury user forgets their DiseWeb application password, district
user can use Reset User option from main menu to reset their password. District user will
select application user for which he/she wants to change password and then click on save
button. On save, password will be set to Pass123# for the selected user. After password
reset, DDO/ non-treasury users again needs to change their password after login.
User Manual: User can view/download application user manual by using the user manual
option from main menu.

Non-Treasury users
For data entry by any users except Treasury DDO’s, users have to contact their respective
District Informatics Officer and provide their details as department name, list of offices,
office type: State Govt or Central Govt. DIO’s will further contact NIC State Centre HP for
user creation. On successful login, such users will see their office details on top with one
button having caption ‘ADD NEW EMPLOYEE’. Using this button, users will enter their
employee records in similar way as treasury DDO’s. The only difference will be, these user
need to enter basic employee details also (e.g. Employee Name, Designation, Bank details).
Following screen will appear on clicking ‘Add new employee’ button:
User can view list of employees on the same page once they add some employee records.
Other options will be similar as for treasury DDO’s. User can filter the list of employees with
three option from radio button list like ‘Available, exempted and complete list.’ By selecting
‘available’ option user can view list of total available employees with their employee code,
name, father/Spouse name, gender, date of birth, designation. User can search a specific

record from the list by using search by name option available on the top left corner of the
list.
User can edit the detail of an employee by using Edit button available in the list against
every record. By using Update button, user can update the employee details. Update button
will automatically get disabled after user submits data for verification to district election
officer. Add New Employee Screen after Submission is shown below:
By using second option (Exempted) from the given options, user can view list of exempted
employees. In case, employee has been exempted by mistake, he/she can be again made
available using EDIT option.

Complete List: By selecting complete list option, user can view complete list of exempted
and available employees.
