Nepal Orphan Project

A special collaborative project between the District 7510 Rotary Clubs/Rotaract and Interact Clubs and the District 3292 Rotary Clubs and Rotaract Clubs in Nepal.

Mission

To improve the quality of life for these orphaned children by providing education, healthcare and nutrition.

To enable them to lead their communities out of the darkness of oppression and into the light of freedom.

World Poverty

1.3 billion people live on less than one dollar a day;

1.3 billion have no access to clean water; For the 1.9 billion children from the

developing world, there are: 640 million without adequate shelter (1 in 3) 400 million with no access to safe water (1 in 5) 270 million with no access to health services (1

in 7)

Nepal Orphan Project In Nepal, children below

the age of 16 make up 41% of the total population.

1.5 million orphans under the age of 17 in Nepal because of disease and civil unrest.

assessment to support better health and hygiene.

Donation of $250 or more will meet the criteria for the Presidential Citation for the International Service project.
