to the conference season.6

SONARMakes a jump into the Conference season, hangs around,

hopefully due to organic acquisition7

GLANCEEGets up into the top200 in Social Networking, holds and then

subsides. Great Media Coverage? Paid Installs? Both?8

BANJOSurges into conference season, holds on in Social Networking. Do they have the secret sauce or are they paying for installs?

HIGHLIGHTGets thru conferences and has a decent sustain. Incredible

media coverage + great product seems to be the case here.10

Quick Thoughts:

Lots of growth occurring in Mid-Feb as companies gear up for Mobile World Congress and SXSW....but why? Media attention? Paid acquisition programs? Both?

A few apps held on to growth the achieved around the conferences, but some just returned to where they started. Further investigation required on why some stick and others don’t.

Highlight is clearly winning. Ban.jo is nicely positioned following the conferences, Glancee is in a better position as well.

My gut tells me that products that have so-called viral distribution sustain if they have good engagement. Get engagement right.
