Empower domestic workers to have the capacity to choose, to dream big and to go for those dreams.

What We Do

Offer domestic workers life skills workshops: improve self-esteem, teach them how to plan their future, domesticworkers’ rights & duties, sexual & reproductive health, andhow to prevent domestic violence.

Workshops

Coaching sessions for senior high school students to empowerand encourage them to go for professional opportunities.

Coaching

We connect night high school students (mainly young femaledomestic workers) with career opportunities and scholarshipsat universities & technical institutions, engaging personalitiesand authorities.

We are working in a cultural change to promote a newconcept: the Student Domestic Worker, to transformdomestic work into a temporary platform to keep scaling intothe education ladder.

We are working with at-risk teenage girls in Peru, encouragingthem to dream big, develop a plan, and go for their dreams.They are ex forced labor children who are doing a big effortas young adults working during the day and studying at high-schools at night.

We have meetings on Sundays, offering domestic workersspare time activities and a space to share and learn.

We were invited to share our proposal to give a different lookto domestic work as the new tool to fight poverty, and bepart of the main panel at the Strategic Workshop ofEconomic Empowerment for Women (Washington DC, 2016)

Vital Voices selected us to be part of their strategic VV100Leadership Team, composed with 100 female leaders (fromtheir network of more than 15,000 women from all over theworld) to help each other promote our proposals worldwide.

We developed a Proposal to modify actual DomesticWorker’s Law according to ILO 189 Conventionrecommendations. It has been presented by CongressWomen Leyla Chihuan, and is about to be presented in thiscoming Legislation period.
