ADVENTURE

to find the stolen dreams

by Miranda Samsa Knapp and Lesley Knapp

Lucy coudn’t sleep... Her friend Sancho called out, “ Hey Lucy, what is wrong?” My dreams have gone she said sadly.

Sancho watched as a dream thief disappeared into the night carrying Lucy’s dreams in a sack on his shoulder.

“Don’t worry Lucy, I will find your dreams for you!“Luckily Sancho knew what to do when dreams go missing.

Donna, the adventurer and dream finderwas happily grazing, when...

...she heard the sound of beating wings. Looking up Donna saw her good friend Sancho, flying over the mountain.“Oh”, thought Donna, “maybe we are going on

another adventure!”

Sancho pecked Donna affectionately, and said, “there is no time to waste Donna, we need to find Lucy’s stolen dreams”.

Donna and Sancho set off to find the stolen dreams, over land...

...and sea. On the way they saw many dreams.... ...a pirate dream....

...a dancing dream.. ...a dream of fighting dragons...

...but none of them were Lucy’s dreams so they continued on their long journey. On their journey, they had heard of a thief of dreams who lived in a city high up in the mountains...

...and at long last they arrived at the house of the dream thief.

In the house they found the dream thief sound asleep.... the sack of stolen dreams trapped under his head

Donna knew what needed to be done and she readied herself to release her special weapon.

Donna’s secret weapon never failed

The dream thief woke with a start.... Sancho swooped in and released the stolen dreams.

Donna and Sancho fled with the dream thief on their tail...almost!!!

Sancho and Donna watched as the dreams rose up into the sky to return to their owners.

Finally, Lucy slept. Her dreams had returned.
