Philippe Halsman was an American portrait photographer. He developed a new style of photography called Jumpology. He commented, "When you ask a person to jump, his attention is mostly directed toward the act of jumping and the mask falls so that the real person appears”. Akbar, one of the greatest rulers of Mughal Dynasty in India suffered from mental illness due to the hectic schedule of the daily court life. So, he asked X to help him. X created something with southern influence. He presents it at the court of Akbar to help him relieve from illness. Even today, it is considered very effective in easing tension.
