Requirements

● Have exhausted most

academically challenging

coursework offered at PM

○ Examples: Math, Spanish etc.

● Elective

● Most schools need SAT/ACT

scores or placement test.

● Flexibility for class schedule

Considerations:

● Not immediate communications/feedback with professors

● Computer and internet access

● Your Characteristics (motivated, organized and dedicated)

Allow for 9.6 or more hours per week of work for each course

Application Procedures (Purple and Green Form)

1. Find a permitted course that fits your schedule.

2. Fill out the appropriate forms completely

3. Request Transcripts to be sent through Career Cruising.

4. Submit the forms to your counselor.

Use the checklist to make sure you have everything done.

$668.25 for 3 credit course - Tuition

HACC Procedures1. Turn into your counselor the following:

a. Dual Enrollment Paper Application

b. Enrollment Form to Register for Credit Courses

c. Transcript

2. Placement Testing

If you have taken SAT or ACT, include a copy of the score report

with the Application. Scores can also be email to HACC’s

Admissions Counselor from your College Board account.

3. Pay Tuition and Fees

4. Give your counselor a copy of course schedule to show proof

you are enrolled.

5. Attend New Student Orientation - Open House April 17th

FIll out the CRN and Section Number on the paper Enrollment form

Deadline April 8th Submit HACC Paper Applications to Penn Manor Counseling

Office by this day or earlier

Application Fee: none

Current Cost for a 3 credit course: $598.50 (This includes the

$20 tech fee per credit.)

Millersville Procedures1. Apply online

a. Choose Class

b. Upload Transcript

c. Upload SAT or ACT Scores

2. Turn into your Penn Manor Counselor the packet that includes:

a. Penn Manor High School Dual Enrollment Application

b. Millersville Transcript Release form

3. *Call to schedule placement tests or make sure to have AP

Scores sent to Millersville

4. Give your counselor proof you are enrolled in the class

5. Attend Orientation

Special Note:

**We encourage students to fill out the transcript request form at the point of application, so that at the end of the semester, MU automatically sends your official transcript. There’s a link on the dual enrollment website:

2) View Spring 2019 approved course list

3) Spring 2019 Application

Deadline May 15th Submit Penn Manor High School Dual Enrollment Application and

Transcript Request form to Penn Manor Counseling Office by this

day or earlier

Applications for dual enrollment courses should submitted to Millersville by May 15th to ensure greatest consideration for placement.

Credit at Penn Manor:1. You must provide your counselor proof you are enrolled in a

class at a college

a. Copy of your schedule, or copy of payment or screenshot of

your online schedule

2. You must provide your counselor with your final grade to

ensure you get the grade on your semester report card and

transcript.

If you do not submit the forms through the counseling office, it

may not count as Penn Manor credit!
