Introduction
1. This is a traffic violation enforcement vehicle which gives better enforcement of traffic rules.
2. This vehicle has electronic gadgets with latest state of the art technology
3. It is a camera which may be mounted beside or over a road or install in an enforcement to detect traffic regulation & violation
Need of it!!!
1. In the high traffic areas
2. In bad weather
3. Light conditions.
4. In the technical aspect of Indian traffic system, we are lacking in some of the parameter like
vehicle detection system efficient image processing etc.
Aim of project
• Aim of project is to improve the quality & capability of present traffic scenario by using MATLAB software.

Colour Detection using MATLAB
Image processing tool box of MATLAB:
1. To detecting color of any image , various MATLAB function present in image processing toolbox of MATLAB.
2. Using the same to create a basic image processor having different features like, viewing the red, green and blue components of a colour image separately, colour detection .
Type of images
There are three type of images
Binary images :- In this type of images matrix consist only zeros (0) and one(1) or black and white respectively
Gray scale image:- These image also a 2 dimensional matrix with each element value varying from 0 to 256.
• RGB images:- Like gray scale image RGB image can be denoted by matrix with each pixel values varying from 0 to 256.In case of RGB image, three separate matrices for each red, green and blue components overlap to form a RGB image of 256x256x3 dimension.
Image Editor
The image editor is created using the Graphical User Interface (GUI) option available in MATLAB . The editor consists of three axis and the following options:
1. Browse image
2. Image input using camera
3. Image addition
4. Gray conversion
Edge detection
• Edge detection technique is applicable only to binary images, so in case of an RGB or gray image it has to be first converted to a binary image and then edge detection technique has to be applied.
• .conversion of RGB into B/w image

Wavelet Transform Technique
1. Wavelet Toolbox software extends the MATLAB
2. In this technique we compress the digital image files
3. Wavelet analysis provides more precise information about signal data than
other signal analysis techniques, such as Fourier transform
4. It is also useful for “cleaning” signal
5. It also reduce unwanted noise and blurring
Key Feature
1. Wavelet packets, implemented as MATLAB objects
2. Wavelet methods provide powerful tools for analyzing, encoding, compressing, reconstructing, and modeling signals and images
3. They are useful in capturing, identifying, and analyzing
Software use
1. MATLAB
2. JAVA
Component1. GSM
2. Camera
3. LASER
4. GPS
Application
1. It can be used to detect the speed of vehicle in intense traffic, bad
weather and night modes
2. Crime related problems like thefts, kidnaps etc. also be governed.
3. It also provides the transparency in the system as the image of the
violator is immediately sent to the control office.
4. Its also helpful in dense traffic area.
PROS & CONS
1. Road traffic safety
2. Road traffic control
3. Speed limit enforcement
4. Traffic light
5. Costly
