• Each event allows you to earn tickets

• Each ticket will go into a box and we will draw winners for each of the prizes

• The more things you participate in, the more tickets you will receive, thus increasing your chance of winning

Week Long Events

Burn Calories, Not Oil!

• Walk or ride your bike to school instead of burning oil

• We will have volunteers waiting at the gate to give you your tickets

Week Long

• Wear your Green Panthers shirt to show support!

• We will be selling them all week long

Reuse!• Bring your old clothes, toys, books,

games and sports equipment to donate to charity

Recycle!• Bring cans, plastic bottles, aluminum

caps, newspapers, magazines, batteries and tetra paks (juice boxes) and printer cartridges to recycle

Monday: Pledges for our Planet

• Pledge to do something eco-friendly during Earth Week

• There will be a “tree” in the Cafeteria for your pledges

• Earn a ticket for each pledge you make

Tuesday: Eco Video Games Day

Online eco games in the cafeteria.

• Energyville, J.Lo: Fur Bully from the Block, Kentucky Fried Cruelty, and Eco quest

• Earn tickets by playing games

Wednesday: Vegetarian Day

• Our Cafeteria will use vegetarian recipes submitted by students

• No meat will be served

• Learn why eating less meat is so important by coming to our Green Panthers table in the cafeteria at lunch

Thursday: Bring Your Own Bottle

• Bring your own reusable water bottle to school

• Come by the Green Panthers table at lunch in the cafeteria to show us your bottle and get a ticket

• If you are using the Green Panthers water bottle, you can get two tickets

Friday: Sign up for Campaigns

• There will be computers set up in the cafeteria for you to sign up for various campaigns

• Against Animal Cruelty, Stop Dolphin Slaughter, Green Energy, 350.org and many more

• Sign up and receive a ticket!

• Magic Eye Barge, EarthCare, Organic Farmers, Toyota, Asia Recyling, Twist and more

• Come by their booths, participate, and get a ticket
