General Standard for Blended Food Additives
1 Scope
This standard applies to all blended food additives with the exception of food
flavorings and chewing gum bases.
2 Terms and definitions
2.1 Blended food additives
Refer to food additives made from two or more single food additives, with or
without adjuvant added, well-mixed by physical process so as to improve food
quality and facilitate food processing.
2.2 Adjuvants
Refer to food raw materials which are added to blended food additives in order to
achieve the goals such as processing, storage and dissolution of blended food
additives.
3 Naming principles
3.1 The blended food additive consisting of single-functional food additives of the
same function shall be named in accordance with the final function that such food
additive can be exerted in the final food. That is, in the form of “blended” + “the

name of the function category of food additives specified in GB2760”, such as
blended colorant and blended antiseptics.
3.2 The blended food additive either consisting of multi-functional food additives
of the identical varieties of functions or consisting of food additives with different
functions could be named by either all of the functions or the main function
exerted in the final food. That is, in the form of “blend” + “the name of the function
category of food additives specified in GB 2760”. The category name of the final
food may be as well added to the name of the food additive, that is, in the form of
“blended” + “food category” + “the name of the function category of food additives
specified in GB 2760”.
4 Requirements
4.1 General Requirements
4.1.1 Blended food additives should not result in any health harm to human
bodies.
4.1.2 The level of a blended food additive in food shall be reduced as much as
possible should the anticipated effects are achieved.
4.1.3 The usage of all kinds of food additives which are used for the production of
blended food additives shall comply with related stipulations in GB 2760 and
announcements from Ministry of Health. Only food additives with the same scope
of application could be blended together.

4.1.4 The quality and standards of all kinds of food additives and adjuvants which
are used for the production of blended food additives shall comply with
corresponding national food safety standards or other related standards.
4.1.5 No chemical reaction shall be triggered during the production of blended
food additives and any new chemical compound shall not be created.
4.1.6 The manufacturers of blended food additives shall be operated according to
national standards and other related standards. Productivity systems of blended
food additives shall be developed, and levels of usage as well as testing methods
for various food additives shall be expressly stipulated.
4.2 Sensory requirements shall conform to Table 1

4.3 Limitation of contaminants
4.3.1 The level of contaminants such as lead and arsenic shall be set forth and
controlled by manufacturers via weight method according to requirements
regarding such contaminants in related food additives and adjuvants which are

stipulated in national food safety standards and other related standards. The
amount of the corresponding contaminant detected in the final product shall not
exceed the fixed level.
For instance:
A certain blended food additive is compounded of three single food additives, A, B
and C, suppose the level of lead in the blended food additive is indicated as d, and
the value is stated in mg/kg. It shall be calculated according to Formula (1):
In the formula:
a—— the level of lead in A which is stipulated in corresponding national safety
standard, unit: mg/kg;
b——the level of lead in B which is stipulated in corresponding national safety
standard, unit: mg/kg;
c——the level of lead in C which is stipulated in corresponding national safety
standard, unit: mg/kg;
a1—— the proportion of A in the blended additive, %;
b1—— the proportion of B in the blended additive, %;
c1—— the proportion of C in the blended additive, %.
In which, a1+ b1+ c1=100%
4.3.2 Provided that the levels of contaminants in the final product cannot be set
through weight method due to the different levels of lead and arsenic, etc. in each

single additive, the safety levels of contaminants shall refer to Table 2.

4.4 Limitation of pathogenic microbes
The level of pathogenic microbes shall be set forth and followed according to
requirements regarding such microbes in related food additives and adjuvants
which are stipulated in national food safety standards and other related standards.
No such microbes could be detected in the final product.
5. Labeling
5.1 Following items shall be included on the label and instruction of blended food
additives:
a) The name of the product, specification, net content and date of production;
b) General names of each single food additive and names of adjuvants, contents of
each single food additive shall be indicated on the blended food additive for
market circulation and catering services;
c) Name, address and contact information of the manufacturer;
d) Shelf life;

e) Standard product code;
f) Storage conditions;
g) Production license number;
h) Scope of application, level of usage and application method;
i) The words “food additives” shall be indicated on the label, and the word “retail”
shall be indicated on the label of the blended food additive for market circulation
and catering services;
j) Other contents which are required by laws and regulations.
5.2 Labels and instructions in Chinese shall be attached to imported blended food
additives. In addition to contents aforementioned, country of origin, the name,
address and content information of Chinese agents shall be specified as well. The
address and contact information of the manufacturer could be indicated in a
foreign language, and the labeling of standard product code and production
license number could be exempted.
5.3 The label and instruction of the blended food additive shall be clear, obvious
and recognizable, shall not resort to false and exaggerating information, or
involve any disease prevention and treatment functions.

复配食品添加剂通则
1 范围
本标准适用于除食品用香精和胶基糖果基础剂以外的所有复配食品添加剂。
2 术语和定义
2.1 复配食品添加剂
为了改善食品品质、便于食品加工,将两种或两种以上单一品种的食品添加剂,添加或不添加辅料,
经物理方法混匀而成的食品添加剂。
2.2 辅料
为复配食品添加剂的加工、贮存、溶解等工艺目的而添加的食品原料。
3 命名原则
3.1 由单一功能且功能相同的食品添加剂品种复配而成的,应按照其在终端食品中发挥的功能命名。即“复
配”+“GB2760中食品添加剂功能类别名称”,如:复配着色剂、复配防腐剂等。
3.2 由功能相同的多种功能食品添加剂,或者不同功能的食品添加剂复配而成的,可以其在终端食品中发
挥的全部功能或者主要功能命名,即“复配”+ “GB2760中食品添加剂功能类别名称”,也可以在命名中增
加终端食品类别名称,即“复配”+ “食品类别”+“GB2760中食品添加剂功能类别名称”。
4 要求
4.1 基本要求
4.1.1 复配食品添加剂不应对人体产生任何健康危害。
4.1.2 复配食品添加剂在达到预期的效果下,应尽可能降低在食品中的用量。
4.1.3 用于生产复配食品添加剂的各种食品添加剂,应符合 GB2760和卫生部公告的规定,具有共同的使
用范围。
4.1.4用于生产复配食品添加剂的各种食品添加剂和辅料,其质量规格应符合相应的食品安全国家标准或
相关标准。
4.1.5 复配食品添加剂在生产过程中不应发生化学反应,不应产生新的化合物。
4.1.6复配食品添加剂的生产企业应按照国家标准和相关标准组织生产,制定复配食品添加剂的生产管理
制度,明确规定各种食品添加剂的含量和检验方法。
4.2 感官要求:应符合表 1 的规定

察形态、色泽,并在室温下嗅其气味。

4.3 有害物质控制
4.3.1 根据复配的食品添加剂单一品种和辅料的食品安全国家标准或相关标准中对铅、砷等有害物质的要
求,按照加权计算的方法由生产企业制定有害物质的限量并进行控制。终产品中相应有害物质不得超过限
量。
例如:某复配食品添加剂由 A、B和 C三种食品添加剂单一品种复配而成,若该复配食品添加剂的铅
限量值为 d,数值以毫克每千克(mg/kg)表示,按公式(1)计算:

a——A的食品安全国家标准中铅限量,单位为毫克每千克(mg/kg);
b——B的食品安全国家标准中铅限量,单位为毫克每千克(mg/kg);
c——C的食品安全国家标准中铅限量,单位为毫克每千克(mg/kg);
a1——A在复配产品所占比例,%;
b1——B在复配产品所占比例,%;
c1——C在复配产品所占比例,%。
其中, 1 1 1 100%a b c+ + = 。
4.3.2 若参与复配的各单一品种标准中铅、砷等指标不统一,无法采用加权计算的方法制定有害物质限量
值,则应采用表 2中安全限量值控制产品中的有害物质。

根据所有复配的食品添加剂单一品种和辅料的食品安全国家标准或相关标准,对相应的致病性微生物
进行控制,并在终产品中不得检出。
5 标识
5.1 复配食品添加剂产品的标签、说明书应当标明下列事项:
a) 产品名称、商品名、规格、净含量、生产日期;
b) 各单一食品添加剂的通用名称、辅料的名称,进入市场销售和餐饮环节使用的复配食品添加剂还应
标明各单一食品添加剂品种的含量;
c) 生产者的名称、地址、联系方式;
d) 保质期;
e) 产品标准代号;
f) 贮存条件;
g) 生产许可证编号;
h) 使用范围、用量、使用方法;
i) 标签上载明“食品添加剂”字样,进入市场销售和餐饮环节使用复配食品添加剂应标明“零售”字样;
j) 法律、法规要求应标注的其他内容。
5.2 进口复配食品添加剂应有中文标签、说明书,除标识上述内容外还应载明原产地以及境内代理商的名

称、地址、联系方式,生产者的名称、地址、联系方式可以使用外文,可以豁免标识产品标准代号和生产
许可证编号。
5.3 复配食品添加剂的标签、说明书应当清晰、明显,容易辨识,不得含有虚假、夸大内容,不得涉及疾
病预防、治疗功能。
