After an initial consultation with an EF Academy admissions manager,the following steps should be taken to ensure a successful application:

1. SUBMIT APPLICATIONThe following needs to be included:- Application Form- High School transcripts- Language Level (Academy English Test)- Statement of Purpose- Copy of Passport- Application Fee

2. ACCEPTANCEOnce documents are received, and if the student is accepted, the tuition fees for the 1st term must be paid within 2 weeks to confirm acceptance. This is the only way to confirm and reserve a position.

3. JULY PAYMENT DEADLINEThe remainder of the student’s tuition fees are due 60 days prior to the first day of school (roughly July 1). If missing, the student’s placement at EF Academy is not guaranteed.

Final documents must be submitted:- Medical Forms- Parental Consent and Emergency Contact- Signed Rules & Regulations- Flight itinerary

4. VISA APPLICATIONEF Academy issues the I-20 (United States) or CAS (United Kingdom) no later than 3 months prior to school’s starting as long as payment conditions have been met.

5. PRE-DEPARTURE MEETINGS During the summer we will hold meetings in Lagos to help prepare students for going abroad and include tips on destination information and packing. This is a great chance to connect with future classmates.
