PYRAMIDSThe pyramids of Egypt are the most amazing and symbolic monuments of this civilization. There are over 30 pyramids but the most important is the Great Pyramid of Giza.
PYRAMIDSThe Great Pyramid is the largest stone building ever built and it is considered one of the 7 wonders of the world.
PYRAMIDSDuring the Old and Middle Kingdoms, the Egyptians built huge pyramids as tombs for their Kings, Queens and other pharaohs.
MUMMIESThe Egyptians tried to stop decomposition bodies using a process called mummification. They believed that this treatment would allow dead people to continue living in the Future World.
MUMMIESThe tombs of rich Egyptians were filled with everything the dead person might need in the Next World, and the pharaohs were buried with amazing treasures.
