Life Story
Dear Reader,
This portfolio traces my works from elementary school all theway up to my senior year in high school. Its fascinating to seehow much my writing has changed over the years!
In elementary school, I practiced creative writing. It began tohelp me understand who I was as a writer. I wrote about myself,my friends, and my dream house…the easy stuff.
Once I started middle school, it was a rude awakening.Instead of writing about imaginary friends, I had towrite summaries on novels, learn how to write in MLAformat, and learn how to properly cite sources.
When I went to high school, nothing changed. I stillhad to write about assigned topics and books. I learned how tosentence diagram, write numerous types of poems, and how toanalyze passages. However, throughout my public schooleducation, I have grown as a writer. Take a look through myportfolio to see how my writing has improved!
