What does it look like?

• MRI observation (2010) • Published by Harvard…

What does it look like?

You can’t teach EQ… can you ?Call it… Nowse, Savvy, Experience

• Gut Instincts

• Poise, confidence

• Connect-ability

• Cutting to the Chase

• Following through

Call it… Emotional Intelligence

Self-Perception

Interpersonal

Decision Making

Stress Management

1: a 25-minute online questionnaire 2 (optional): friends & colleagues

Step 1: the (only) technical part

• EQ-i2.0 – a personal profile • EQ-360o – colleagues’ perspectives

Step 2: the Report(s)

The EQ-i2.0 is composed of 133 items and is self-reporting… Each of the 16 scales is individually scored, as is each of the five realms. Finally a total score is obtained. Rather like an IQ, this ranges up or down from 100.

Step 3: the conversation“…objective feedback and tailored coaching allow the coachee to go further in their goals, and address more of them, far more quickly than they could by working alone.”

You can’t measure this… can you?

Patrick Lencioni, The Five Dysfunctions of Teams, 2011
