What is Enkidu?

Enkidu is a decentralised collaboration platform that allows engineers, designers, creators, even coffee brewers and sculpture makers all over the world to come together to build and sell products online.

With an easy to integrate payment gateway, any individual can not only find collaborators on the platform, but also engage in seamless small business building, with minimal legal and accounting overhead.

What is Enkidu?

A payment splitter gateway is central to the operations of Enkidu, trustlessly splitting any incoming payments between the members of a project according to their respective share in said project, which is described in a cap table. The payment gateway obeys the rules of the cap table. Concepts like vesting, treasury and IP protection are handled using Smart Contracts.

A “resolution” voting system that has a private record of resolutions passed by the collaborative entity - allowing people to vote on decisions like dilution, treasury threshold, etc. Unlike a full-blown DAO like Aragon, this resolution system is lightweight and built for organizations under 5 employees. The payment gateway programmatically obeys the resolutions passed.

In short, Enkidu is a blockchain based “automaton” that is an alternative to an LLC. It allows people to team up, split payments and run the proceedings of a monetizable project, without requiring a company entity (flow-through tax). We’re trying to merge the concept of the company entity with the payment gateway.
