Evaluation Question #5How did you attract/address your audience?

A film audience can be attracted through many ways, a couple of them are:

•Advertising (TV, posters, billboards, etc)•Word of mouth

I thought since I am currently in Sixth Form, it would be a quick and easy way to attract my audience through these methods and reach my target audience through school colleagues and family.

Advertising•To advertise my product, I created a small

poster to spread the word to my target audience. This gave them something to expect.

Word of Mouth•While creating my product, I made sure I

told my friends and family about it to create a buzz. I told them the basic plot but didn’t give too much away, this meant that they had something to look forward to and to keep them guessing about what would happen.

I addressed my audience by screening my film to them in person and over the internet, as most people today use the internet including sites like YouTube, which made it easy and convenient to watch, then I carried out a survey to get their feedback and opinions of it.
