COMPANY BACKGROUND
Everett clothing, a NY-based men’s
lifestyle brand, offers the dapper
gentleman a stylish and bold
selection of men’s accessories. The
company launched in June 2012 with
a collection of neckties, bow ties, and
pocket squares. It is the brainchild of
three fashion-forward friends, Nathan
Coleman, Tinoy Ibn Kashif and James
Brooks who decided that they wanted
accessory options beyond the solids,
stripes and muted colors traditionally
found in menswear. With the first
collection produced, a fitting motto
was adopted; “wear yourself”. The
maxim serves as a reminder that what
you wear is an expression of who you
are, so that you should embrace every
opportunity to “wear yourself”.
Since its launch, the company has
expanded its product line to include
cuff links, tie clips, and stick-on-
pockets. The company also conducted
a very successful sale with popular
online retailer Jack Threads in June
2012 shortly after its launch. Success
in the Artists & Fleas retail market
in Brooklyn, NY also helped the
company gain traction by establishing
a retail customer base and wholesale
accounts.
Currently, the company is gearing up
for the 2013 season and has produced
many new styles for its Spring and Fall
collections.

PARTNER BIOGRAPHIES
Nathan ColemanNathan grew up in Westchester County
NY. As a kid he often stood out with
multi-colored hair, argyle socks, and
vintage bowling shirts all with the name
“Jerry”. For several years his clothing
came exclusively from a small boutique
named Ebay. His favorite phrase to his
parents was “I’ll make it work”. He didn’t,
but in the process he certainly learned
how to balance color and patterns.
Tinoy Ibn KashifTinoy grew up in Co-op City in the
Bronx. He has a large family consisting
of several older siblings. At a very early
age he started getting hand me downs
like most in large families do. Instead of
accepting this as his stylish fate he set
out to make something extraordinary
out of the ordinary. He became very
friendly with the local thrift stores
and discovered the value of a good
tailor. Now he is known as the clothing
MacGyver in some circles.
James BrooksJames grew up in Upstate New York
and spent most of his childhood wearing
hand-me-downs primarily consisting
of fish shirts. Not Phish the band, but
fish with gills and fins. Luckily for those
around him, his sense of style has
improved over the years. During his free
time, James can be found sailing around
New York Harbor sporting a bow tie
RECENT PRESS
Artists & Fleas BlogEverett was founded just this summer by 3
friends Nathan Coleman, Tinoy Kashif, and James
Brooks – all business-savvy men in their mid-
20s who saw a real opportunity in the clothing
industry for vibrant men’s accessories. Realizing
that ties mostly come in just solids and stripes,
they wanted to create a line of ties out of unusual
textures, colors, and patterns like monkeys and
elephants, two-tone paisleys, and multi color
polka dots. All the fabrics are sourced locally in
and around NYC, and products include neckties,
bowties, and pocket squares.
They’re currently working on their Spring 2013
designs, which include linen, burlap, canvas,
and seer sucker. They’re also getting ready to
introduce tie bars into the mix, as well as stick-on
pockets!! And their quirky style even comes out
in their marketing: post a photo wearing one of
the tie stickers on their Facebook page and get
a discount.
Press ReleaseNew York, NY – December 5, 2012
Everett clothing, a NY-based men’s lifestyle brand,
offers the dapper gentleman a stylish and bold
selection of men’s accessories. Having launched
merely 6 months ago, Everett caught the attention
of ecommerce site Jack Threads early on, which
hosted a successful three-day sale of the brand in
early June 2012.
Everett’s commitment to self-expression shines
through in its debut line of neckties, bow ties and
pocket squares. The line features textiles that were
hand-selected by the founders: colorful twists to
vintage prints, bold takes on delicate designs, solids
made from non-traditional materials, and cheeky
renditions of animal-print wear. Their debut line
takes a playful spin on conventional menswear, and
offers trim gentlemen the ability to personalize the
work-wear dress code.
Everett has already expanded its offerings to
include tie bars and cuff links. It also launched
fully functional adhesive “stick-on” pockets that
will customize even the dullest t-shirts. A group
of designer’s not to be missed; the company is
currently finalizing production on their nautical-
inspired Spring collection, and purchasing Fall
fabrics. Stay tuned as they release their expressive
collections!
