PMI Credentials Program Management Professional (PgMP)

Candidates ensure the ultimate success of the program

Modify programs and make decisions that advance strategic and business goals

Define and initiate projects; assign project managers; and oversee multiple projects.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Candidates are responsible for all aspects of individual projects for the life of the project.

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Candidates are responsible for individual project tasks in their area of expertise (e.g., finance,

marketing, legal, customer care, market research, fulfillment, processing).

The responsibility does not need to be industry specific, but must be relevant across many functional areas and industries

Risk Management Professional (RMP) Candidates are responsible for identifying project risks and preparing mitigation plans.

Scheduling Professional (SP) Candidates are responsible for creating and maintaining the project schedule

Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) is designed for practitioners who utilize Agile approaches to project management in their

projects.

2013 Chapter Accomplishments

Maintain the energy and enthusiasm in the Chapter

Improve the Chapter Web Site by implementing appropriate

interactive technology to our membership for 2011and beyond.

Continue the mechanization development effort which John Kos

initiated by introducing technology which will allow membership a

Baltimore Chapter ID card for easy access to Chapter events,

Seminars, and other Chapter sponsored activities. This will allow

electronic PDU submission by the Chapter, not its membership.

Broaden our Chapter’s ability to leverage the Project Management

knowledge by increasing Seminars, Education Events, and Career

Night activities.

Improved the Chapter Processes to support its growth from 2012 and beyond

Improve our ability to reach out to local academia

Campaign

Outreach PMI Partnership:

• Continue joint programming with area chapters, local Federal,

State, and County Agencies, and the Region V. CMS, SSA,

UMBC, Towson, Morgan State, and Loyola Universities,

University of Baltimore, MMP/BBBS of Maryland

Golf Tournament:

• Annual golf tournament which supports the Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Fund:

• Contribute $50,000 for the PMI Educational fund over a five

year period
