GROWING UP IN THE DIGITAL AGE Public Showing at Trinity Sun., Feb. 11 6:00 pm Tickets: $5 This digital age can be overwhelming and risky. As we do our best to take care of
our youth, we must consider the implications of social media and technology. This
award-winning film offers solutions on how we can help our kids navigate the digital
world.
We are bringing this film to Trinity to begin a conversation about teenagers (and
young people) and the impact of screens/social media. Spread the word.

NEXT SUNDAY—Join us in the chapel on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 10 am as
we discuss the living out of one’s Christian vocation. Learn about our
spiritual forebearer, Martin Luther, and the revolutionary new thoughts
he introduced that reformed the way people thought about holiness
expressed in everyday words and actions. Come and consider what
your holy callings might be!
TODAY — Adult Ed in the Chapel at 10 am: Pr. Brown will lead a
session as part of our “Read Through the Bible This Year!” program.
All are Welcome—whether or not you’ve kept up with the reading!
“Sensing the Gospel”
TOUCH — It can be healing and hopeful. It can intensify and validate
mere spoken words. It was the blessed gift of an incarnate God, and it
is part of who we are as beings created in God’s image. Join with us
on Wednesday Feb. 21 as we enter into our Wednesday evening Len-
ten series of brief meditations entitled “Sensing The Gospel”.
Soup at 6:30 pm — Enjoy a simple but nutritious soup supper. Good
food, wonderful conversation, breaking bread together.
Service at 7:30 pm — Head up to the sanctuary for worship and our
annual opportunity to participate in the much loved Holden Evening
Prayer.
Taste and see that the Lord is good! (Touch and hear and smell it too!)
THE ROSE on the altar is in honor of the birth of Jalen Thomas
Geppert born Jan. 30, son of David & Kailey, grandson of Carl &
Barb, and great-grandson of Marian & Jim Geppert!
PREPARE FOR WORSHIP on Feb. 18, the first Sunday in Lent, by reading and meditating on the
lessons for the day sometime during the week:

OUR MEN’S GROUP meets bright and early every Thursday morning at 7am. We share in great
conversation around faith and life as we enjoy warm Christian fellowship and a bite to eat.
We are beginning A NEW STUDY entitled “The American Protestant Experience”. This series
documents the never-ending debate about the relationship between church and civil authori-
ty. We’ll explore the way in which the country’s founders, seeing the intolerance of the early
immigrants, wisely sought to create a republic where faith could be practiced freely, but where
theocracy could be avoided. We’ll consider the unique quality of religious life in America – the
innovation and experimentation that we experience – that makes this country a free marketplace
for faith. Come and Join us!
