Educational applications for Ipads http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFnWoEGWCVY GHS has received funding to support the
purchase of 1 set of classroom ipads that will be managed from the library service.
The Ipads will primarily be used for students of years 7 and 8 that do not have the DER laptops.
Clickview is another technology we use at Griffith HS which is based on video technology.
We will be shortly be upgrading our clickview services so students are able to access the via the internet at home.
With this in mind students will be able to use additional technology services from the school to compliment their studies.
All teachers at Griffith HS have received training in the fundamentals of the DER laptops, participated in smart clickers presentation and functions and will soon undergo training with the ipad technologies.
All teachers at Griffith HS have also had access to smartboards.
