Basque DIH key messages:

1. This is all about reducing barriers for companies and especially SMEs to access andexperiment digital innovations.

2. Industry 4.0 means opportunities and challenges. The DIH supports companies on thetrack to leverage opportunities and face those challenges.

3. The DIH as physical infrastructure consists on a set of nodes organized in a network offacilities (pilot plants, digital infrastructures, etc), all organized in a coherentarchitecture.

4. The DIH network property belongs to all participating actors (RTOs, academia, privatecompanies…) and receives support of regional public authorities.

5. The DIH network will be used to foster strategic R&D collaborative projects, start upescalation, technology test beds etc.

6. January 1st 2018: Additive Manufacturing and Collaborative & Flexible Robotics. Nextnodes planned for 2018 (e.g. Cybersecurity).
