The freedom to live your life the way you want to

VictoryaHome is a support system that monitors health and safety, and facilitates social

contact. The VictoryaHome services do not depend on automated functions, but

empower family and friends, and bring immediate human presence when needed.

Therefore, it includes smart devices like an activity monitor, fall detector and an

automatic pill dispenser, a smartphone app for family and friends, an online dashboard

for response centres, and a mobile telepresence device called Giraff that stays with the

senior.

Long-term pilots

The main goal of VictoryaHome is to improve people’s

wellbeing, independence, health and safety – not only for

seniors, but also for their family, friends and professional

caregivers.

Starting at the end of 2014, we will run long-term effect

studies. This means that a group of over 100 end-users in four

different countries (Netherlands, Norway, Portugal and

Sweden) will use the VictoryaHome services for a year, in order

to evaluate and improve our system and services.
