How to Use the 'Libby' App for eBooks

Download and open the "Libby" App

Find our library

If BCSPLS does not show up, you can search by city or use your location

Add your library card

Sign in with your card # and PIN*

*PINs are 4 digit numbers. Visit the circulation desk if you need to reset yours

From the home page, you can search for titles or browse the

collection

Use the '+' button to narrow down your search

Click (1) 'Borrow' to select a book, and (2) 'Borrow!' to confirm your checkout

From here, you can (1) begin reading in the Libbyapp, (2) keep browsing, or (3) go to your Shelf

To read your eBook in the Libby app, simply click 'Open Book'

To deliver your eBook to a Kindle device, go to your Shelf and (1) click on the book's image,

then (2) click 'Send to Device'

Sign into yourAmazon account

Click the yellow 'Get Library Book'

Choose your preferred Kindle device or app

After delivering the eBook, you should syncyour Kindle device or app. This will enabledelivery, and your eBook should appear on

your bookshelf.
