What´s happening with assessmentin the United States?

The traditional system rankedstudents.

Now all students are expected to reacha certain level of proficiency.

What´s happening with assessmentin the United States?

Now teachers and school are being heldaccountable for ALL students´ success dueto a law called ¨No Child Left Behind.¨

Schools are closed if students test scoresare too low.

Some teachers´ salaries are affected bystudent performance.

As a result, schools are focussing onimproving their assessment practices.
