• A County-wide plan for a freight network that
reflects current conditions, anticipates future growth
and local, national, and international economic
conditions, recommends innovative solutions to freight
needs
– Determine the impact of freight on the regional economy,
– Identify supply chains in the region,
– Identify freight transportation assets,
– Identify warehousing, distribution and industry clusters,
– Prepare a map of the freight network in Grayson County
utilizing GIS,
– Assess the condition of the freight system in Grayson County,
– Determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and
threats (SWOT) of the freight network in Grayson County,
– Determine funding and financing needs and options,
– Conduct stakeholder engagement throughout the process ,
and
– Develop an implementation strategy.

freight and how it compares to similar facilities
