Description of UBI• City of Covilhã, in the Centro region.• 5 faculties: Sciences, Engineering, Social and Human Sciences, Arts and Letters, and Health Sciences. • +7500 undergraduate and postgraduate students. • Innovative research, knowledge transfer, and entrepreneurship activities. • UBI is a training organization/university which trains teachers, from all levels covering the pre-primary schools towards the secondary and university teachers, designs content for training teachers and for valuating teaching.

Context• Support structures of Continuous training of teachers:
a) CFIUTE – Continuous Training Office (offers continuous training for teachers, industry partners, public and private collaborators; supports cooperation between the university and the society )
b) GDAE – Educational Support Office (support curriculular development; foster active learning patterns; promote cross-frontier learning; adequate valuation systems; use of tech-based tools in learning-teaching)

2. Program Learn@UBIGoals: - To promote teaching supported by tech tools;
- The structure of the project has 2 strands: pedagogic devoloping skills that allow the use of innovation in
teaching-learning;scientific fostering the publication of final works. Additionally, the program has R&D seminars with leaders of opinion that
use the tech tools and are related with the scientifici background of teachers involved - stakeholders (from industry, schools, public
institutions).
