Types of interface in my game
It is a web browser based game, which means it can be played on any device that opens a browser such as Internet explorer and supports html. The difference between my game and a game playable on iPhone downloaded from the app store is that it’s small and doesn’t require downloading any files. You just access the page and play. Also, my game is text based and does not include any moving images, just stationary, compared to any java games played in the Internet browser.
Navigation structure
In my game you navigate by clicking the links to the next page, or on touch screen devices by touching the display. The back button that accesses the history is also usable whilst playing.
Screen layout
I use the space effectively by making it simple and easy on the eye for the player. I use consistent layout so it does not confuse the player. I have divided the screen into two sections that are explained in the diagram on the right. I also, used images sizes to suit the browser screen and made them according to the space available.

Game controllers
I chose to use the mouse and touch controller, as it’s the easiest way of the player to navigate. Special equipment and accessories would be needed to use the motion or voice controls. I chose the mouse controller because it’s very convenient for the player to navigate through the game.
