Garageband Create your first song
Click on !(in your dock)
Make a New Project Choose !“Loops”
Name it “Beat Bass Melody”
Click the loop !until it’s blue
Open the Loops Library
Choose a loop category
Preview loops
Click !and !drag
Click reset and browse a new category
Add a bass track below
Add a melody track below
Lengthen, move, and edit tracks until you are satisfied
with your song
Garageband Tools and Techniques
Click and drag !the top right corner to lengthen
Slide to zoom
Beat ruler
Mute this track
Mute all other tracks (solo)
Track volume
Advanced track
volume
Click to create volume point
Slide to adjust
volume
